The Ernst Leitz Wetzlar Elmar 9cm 1:4 (90mm f/.4) lens is for early Leica cameras.  This lens was produced in the 1950s and is has the Leica screw-thread.  The lens construction consists of 4 elements in 3 groups.  The diaphragm (aperture blades) consists of 16 blades.  This rare lens is all chrome version with leatherette rear ring section and the “white face”. It has a closest focusing distance of 3.28ft (1 m).

This rare Leica lens is in great condition for its age.  It has smooth movement for focusing as well as the diaphragm blades.  The glass is clear and has some cleaning scratches but nothing excessive. The barrel shows some wear with some discoloration in the middle and tiny specs on the focus rings by the number scales. It comes with the original Leica front cap and in the bubble case. This would be an excellent addition to a collection and is still fully functional.

 Return Policy: While we strive to make our buyers happy by putting honest descriptions and high resolution pictures of the items we sell, most of the equipment we sell is used, and if for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase please contact us with your concerns and return the item within 30 days of purchase.
